Signe takes traditional jazz expression in new directions through the unusual lineup of three vocalists and a double bass. In their current project Onomatopoesia trilogy, Signe explores the uncharted territories of the human voice. The three-album composition is a vocal study on sensitisation as well as the need for attachment and settlement in our ever-changing environment.

The ensemble has twice been nominated for "the Finnish Jazz Grammy" at Emma Gala in 2023 and in 2020, and received honourable mention after being nominated for Teosto Prize 2020 with their debut album To Sappho.
